Gulf Investment has a long standing involvement with tennis in Dubai and is the major sponsor of the iconic Dubai event, the Gulf Investment Classic.  The Gulf Investment Classic is part of the Women's Tennis Association's (WTA) tour and is played in the first week of January each year at the Gulf Investment Tennis Centre in Dubai.

In recent years, some of the world’s most iconic female athletes have headlined the Gulf Investment Classic. Superstars such as Ana Ivanovic, Venus Williams and Caroline Wozniacki have wowed crowds and created a buzz around the tournament.
